Expectations of rain put a dampener on T in the Park

eBay and other auction sites have been taken over by hundreds of fans trying to sell their T in the Park tickets after weather forecasts have predicted heavy rain for the event. Many Glasgow escorts who were looking forward to taking the weekend off are also trying to sell their tickets.

This follows forecasts of not only heavy rain in the area but even flash flooding. This would turn the T in the Park venue into a veritable mud bath, and while some fans love the chance to splash around in the dirt, many others have been put off by this possibility.

Tickets which originally cost almost £200 are now selling for only half the original price. Thunder and lightning is also a possibility for the weekend and could even happen during sets by Coldplay, the Strokes and Beyonce among many other world-famous acts. While the performers themselves are sure to be under a protective roof, the fans would be completely exposed to the elements.

The worst weather expected for the weekend is forecast to be on Friday with Saturday and Sunday becoming a little less extreme. Nevertheless, those revellers still planning on attending for the entire weekend will be sure to pack their wellies and weather-proof clothing. These forecasts are reminiscent of 2008 were in torrential rain caused delays of up to 8 hours for people trying to arrive and depart the site.

Whatever actually occurs weather-wise on the weekend of T in the Park, there is no doubting the quality of the line-up with other acts including Pulp, Foo Fighters and Arctic Monkeys. Many of these acts are coming in right off the heels of performing at Glastonbury and are sure to be in good form. Of course, many hard-core festival-goers are used to the rain and mud, and wouldn't have it any other way!
